Dreams for the future: Most of my dreams involve travel, adventure, and food! Currently, on my travel bucket list, I have Greece, Costa Rica, and hiking in Peru. I also am passionate about exploring more of our National Parks and will continue to spend time here in our beautiful state exploring the many gorgeous lakes and mountains.
Professional background: My first job out of college was as a clinical dietitian at Sacred Heart in Eugene. I quickly realized that I wanted more one-on-one relationships with my patients. I started working for the cardiologists seeing patients in their Lipid Clinic, and also working as an outpatient dietitian for Oregon Heart and Vascular Institute teaching classes & seeing patients in their Cardiac Rehab Program. Eventually, I found my love of outpatient nutrition counseling working for Fruits of Wisdom. I took some years off when my 3 daughters were young and after that, I worked as a regional coordinator for the outpatient program, Girls on the Run before returning to my love of nutrition counseling with Bloom Health & Wellness.
